Thanks for checking out my new photo
site. There are many new changes, not the least of
which is the new domain name - Deep Blue Zen
(deepbluezen.com). Most of the photos from the old
sites are still here, but I've added many more.
One new section is titled 'Old School & More'. I'm hoping to encourage everyone to send in those surfing related pictures from day's past. Most of those photos laying around your house are not going to wind up in the Surfer's Journal, so you may as well send them here and let's get them out there for the world to see. Over time, we may have enough to create some other nice projects The 'More' part is an invitation to send in any current pictures that you think we'd like to see. So, if you have a really great shot from last week or last year, send it in. Be sure to include information about the picture.
Another new addition is the 'Slideshow'. This is a mixed media presentation. The first I hope of many more. As it says in the introduction, 'Turn off the lights, plug in your external speakers, turn it way up, kick back with whatever you kick back with....' Let me know what you think.
At some point in the future, the photos will be available for sale. Along with your standard 8x10 & 5x7's, I will be offering the photos in a variety of fine art papers, canvas and other artistic methods.
And now that I've finally gotten around to completing this project, I can spend more time actually taking pictures.
